Hey guys - I have an interesting question. I've been doing most of the maintenance myself mostly because the dealer in my area is useless and its the only one in town. Also I just think it makes the whole experience more fun.
Anyway, I was headed up to Skyline drive this week-end and I came up behind a yahoo who was sitting at a GREEN light so I tried to honk my horn - nothing. Not even a peep - the thing was totally dead. So I pulled over to see if there was something clearly wrong. Could not tell. Then I noticed that the headlight was out too. Both must have gone out about the same time. But the turn signals work great. I thought it might have been the wiring since all three go out from the left control box on the handlebars but the turn signal being fine threw me.
Any of you have any idea what this could be before I start to take the bike apart?
